The Gallery: The art of femininity
Rinascimento brings portraits of beauty to the catwalk with romantic styles and fierce personalities

Time stands still and all eyes are focused on the portraits of beauty that Rinascimento paints inside the former Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Bologna. The location is reminiscent of an artist’s studio that is transformed into a blank canvas on which to give life to clothes as contemporary and feminine works of art. Amidst watercolour patterns and bold colours, the women walk the catwalk full of confidence and the freedom to reinvent themselves.
Autumn/Winter 2025 collection: Snapshots of change
They say that fashion changes but style remains. The style that graced the iconic Rinascimento catwalk embraces fashion and uses it to tell stories and describe personalities: women who are unique, feminine, romantic, edgy, but also in search of their own path and style. Women who look to the brand as an ally and friend they can count on when they want fashion that represents them.
Thus, in this new collection, Rinascimento chooses to focus on modular dresses and a variety of styles where the details make all the difference. Geometric and sculptural shapes are alternated and combined with soft, feminine designs embellished with glamorous details such as oversized bows and watercolour patterns.
In the words of Luca Antonini, Brand Director of Rinascimento, the woman of the autumn/winter collection is ‘a real woman, eager to tell her story but also to discover herself and be free to change if she wishes. These dresses don’t demand perfection, but support change, and value and enhance the characteristics of each woman. We have always said that our desire is not simply to dress women but to be at their side, to be part of their story. With this collection we want to declare that we are there and that we are ready to welcome new challenges together with you’.
From style to colour, you paint your own canvas
Dark hues for strong and free spirits, but also pastels, floral patterns and bright colours. Colour is freed from the formality of occasion and time and becomes the tool to build one’s own style. ‘Our collection could almost be seen as a large capsule that brings together different styles and moods,’ explains Monica Mai, Art Director of Rinascimento. ‘The woman’s body becomes a kind of blank canvas with which to have fun creating new works to express her essence but also the emotions that accompany us every day. That’s why we chose to focus a lot on bold and, somewhat, neutral colours such as black, white or even blue, which is an iconic colour for us. It’s a sort of new black, ideal for the evening, embellished with fringes or in shimmering satin’.
In short, a collection to be experienced, explored, constructed and mixed, where the woman has the final say. The minimal elegance of evening and ceremonial wear is made special thanks to jewel details or precious fabrics such as bouclé tweed with a very fashionable lurex thread. The colour palette is enriched with tidepool green and charisma purple, as well as apricot pink for more vibrant and romantic looks.
Iconic as an accessory: The timeless bag by Rinascimento
It’s historic, it’s iconic, it’s elegant, it’s feminine and it’s made in Italy. It’s the Opera Bag by Rinascimento, the star accessory of this catwalk and next winter. The Opera Bag returns to the collection in its two formats: the larger hand or shoulder bag for daytime, and the mini for evening. A proposal with a timeless mood but revamped in terms of materials, colours and details. In a mix of 100% genuine leather textures such as lizard, crocodile, suede and palmellato, the Opera Rinascimento Bag is presented in a colour palette ranging from classic blue, black and beige to the new lime and chocolate. Iconic detail: The RR monogram framed in an oval.
The buzzword of the collection is versatility. We chose to tell the story of a woman who works, has fun, but above all loves herself. The women on the catwalk were of every age and every body type, and the models on the runway were in fact young, silver, curvy – real women just like those who choose us every day.
