If you have also chosen to follow the seasonal trend by buying a slip dress, Clara has the perfect ensemble for you. ‘A slip dress is perhaps the most versatile garment to have in your wardrobe,’ explains Clara, ‘ and reusing it in a daily style is easy; all you need, is the right accessories and the style changes instantly’.

‘Simple: sneakers that make the slip dress suitable for the daytime, an oversized shirt that gives that extra touch for a perfect office look and a large shoulder bag, ideal for travelling. Then, if you want to achieve a hyper-feminine, elegant mood, all you have to do is add a stole and jewelled sandals and you will be ready to win the perfect guest award’.

Thanks to Clara, we have learnt how to style the slip dress for everyday occasions, but what about a two-toned suit? Monochrome is one of the trends of the year. We have seen it on the catwalk for both the winter and summer seasons, but how can we revamp a suit?

‘Everyone thinks there is only one way to wear a suit, which is to pair each trouser or skirt with its jacket. In reality, both elements that make up the suit are versatile and easy to match. Monochrome, in any shade, goes perfectly with summer floral prints. Jackets are even more glamorous when paired with denim, perhaps in pastel tones. But you don't necessarily have to break up the outfit to change the look of a suit. Once again, we must remember that shoes can make all the difference. A pair of trousers worn with stiletto pumps conveys a certain mood, but if we replace these with low sandals, everything changes'.

Outfits for special occasions are often made up of wonderful ethereal, light skirts in watercolour shades, typically paired with ultra-feminine satin tops or corsets.
